Search new Scottish church records this Findmypast Friday

Explore new additions spanning 200 years.

Calling everyone with Scottish roots - we've added 2,105 new records from across the country this Findmypast Friday.

There are three new collections for you to explore, consisting of Aberdeen Register of Testaments, Dores Free Church Adherents, and Catholic Church members. These transcriptions stretch back as far as 1701.

We've also added two new English titles to our newspaper collection this week.

Aberdeen Register of Testaments 1715-1734

The 821 transcriptions in this new set recount those who signed testament registers in Aberdeenshire between 1715 and 1734.

Dores Free Church Adherents 1893

This set contains 367 records from the historic Scottish county of Inverness-shire.

These are all from the year 1893.

Scottish Catholics and their Children 1701-1705

This collection contains almost 1,000 records from across Scotland and tells the story of the country's practicing Catholics in the early 18th century.

New pages from Eastbourne to Epworth

There are two new English titles to explore this week, but that's not all - we've also updated 21 existing publications, with fascinating new pages spanning 127 years.
